A fun ride at Deers Leap for young riders 6-9 years old. Children must be able to ride a bike confidently. This isn’t ‘advanced’ but assumes a basic level of competence – it really is still an easy ride.

Participation Statement

It is recognized that Mountain biking is an activity with a danger of personal injury or death. Parents of participants in this activity should be aware of and accept these risks before registering their children.

Safety Briefing and Acceptance of Risk

Your child is about to take part in a high risk activity. They will minimise this risk by following the safety rules and advice given to them. If they don’t follow the safety rules and advice, they could have a serious accident which could be fatal.

Acceptance of Risk
- 1. I understand that Mountain Biking is dangerous and includes substantial obstacles, which can be physically testing. I accept that there is a risk of injury and death when undertaking such activities.
- 2. I understand that my child must wear a helmet at all times.
- 3. I agree that my child will follow the instructions and advice given at all times
- 4. . In the unlikely event of an accident, or loss or damage to personal effects, I acknowledge that the company will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage or injury arising from or in connection with the Activities (except for death or Personal Injury caused by the Company’s negligence).
- 5. I certify that to the best of my knowledge my child does not have a medical condition which might affect their participation in this activity.

If your answer to any of the above questions is ’No’ you MUST discuss your answer with Reception. Your child may NOT ride at Deers Leap until satisfactory answers are given, and Deers Leap will accept no responsibility or liability under any circumstances.

I certify to the best of my knowledge, my child does not suffer from a medical condition which might affect their participation in this activity, or make it more likely that they be involved in an accident or incident which could result in injury to themself or others.
