Just south of East Grinstead in Sussex, Deers Leap Park has 240 acres of dedicated mountain bike tracks of every grade from family-friendly trails to single track and north shore in the woods.
Come to Deers Leap for a day out and try out the trails – our main trail is just under 3 miles around the park, with lots of other smaller trails going through the wooded areas. The main trails are suitable for children, as are some of the smaller ones – however most children don’t get any further than our great skills tracks area because it’s so much fun!
For a great idea of what Deers Leap biking is like check out our video…
We are set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the site is a great place to come mountain biking for the day or just an hour or two.
A map of the park and its trails can be found here.
Our hire centre is also a fully stocked bike shop with Trek, Mondraker and GT bikes – and a full repair workshop if you want to have your own bike serviced or repaired.
Activities – As part of the region’s largest outdoor activity company TrekCo, we can offer a fantastic range of activities from Deers Leap including birthday parties, family days out, company days and team building, or activity days for groups of friends. See the party and activity pages for more!
Parties – Mountain biking parties for kids of all ages from about 7 up – we have fleets of all sizes! Just £15 per person with a minimum group of 8 – see our party page or combine with rock scrambling at the rocks with our qualified instructors – Rock and Ride just £24!
Just come for a ride – You can bring your own bike; it costs £5 entry for the whole day (kids and adults).
Alternatively, hire ours from our fleet of Trek and Saracen hire bikes – we feature standard bikes which are well featured hardtails suited to the terrain, full suspension for a little more, or higher end test bikes.
Unfortunately we can’t allow the use of child seats in the park for safety reasons. We do hire out a 2 seater buggy for the little ones or Tag-a-Long trailers for the slightly older.
Cost – Just £5.00 to ride your own bike, or see the Bike Hire Page for more details of hiring bikes.
Car Parking – there’s plenty of parking and it’s completely free.
