Opening Times and Access
Deers Leap Park is open to the public. If you want to come for a walk, you are welcome – there’s no charge and we’d love to see you. Please remember though, it is private land. The park is only open in our opening hours, 10am-6pm.
10.00 a.m. until 6.00 p.m. 7 days a week all year round
Bank Holidays, school holidays, weekends: we are open every day
We have one period during which we have closure days – 25th December until mid-January. Otherwise we are open every day.
Can I walk my dog at Deers Leap? – You are welcome, but please take away your dog’s ex-food! Children play on the park, and cyclists are around, so it is very antisocial not to do so.
We don’t allow commercial dog walkers any more for this reason.
Can I access Stone Farm Rocks from Deers Leap? – Yes, although there is no footpath on the OS map, you can cut through on to the bridleway at the top of the rocks from ‘Rocks Field’. Please walk along the edge of the field, and not across the middle as this is a farmed field.
Climbers are welcome to park at Deers Leap all day (it’s free) and walk through the park to the rocks.
